What we're looking for

We are looking for a professional with practical experience in industrial electricity, especially in the maintenance of electrical panels, motor control panels, power circuits, and protection systems.

Vocational Training (Middle or Higher Grade) in Electricity, Electrical and Automatic Installations, Electromechanical Maintenance, or a related technical specialty.
Demonstrable experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in installations with electric motors and pumping systems, of at least 3 years.
Practical experience in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of motor control electrical panels.
Solid knowledge of power and maneuvering electrical circuits, contactors, relays, protections, and industrial electrical components.
Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and perform fault diagnosis autonomously.
Handling of electrical measuring instruments, such as multimeters and clamp meters.
Availability to travel to project facilities in the Western Costa del Sol.
Responsibility, autonomy, problem-solving ability, and orientation toward high-quality work.

We are looking for qualified electrical maintenance and assembly personnel for an important pumping facility maintenance project that consists of the service of adaptation and technical support for low-voltage electrical installations in sanitation infrastructures.

At Marlex, we are looking for personnel for a large company specializing in electrical installations, engineering, and energy solutions; we are looking to hire an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to participate in a preventive and corrective maintenance project for pumping facilities located in the Western Costa del Sol, with a main base in Málaga city.

What you'll do

The selected person will be responsible for ensuring the correct functioning of the electrical installations, detecting and diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance actions.

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance work on the electrical installations of pumping stations (EBAR, EDAR, and EBAP).
Review, maintain, and repair electrical distribution, maneuvering, and control panels, as well as motor control panels.
Diagnose electrical faults, locate failures in power and control circuits, and identify defective components.
Perform electrical checks, measurements, and functional verifications using measuring instruments.
Review electric motors, protections, contactors, relays, maneuvering elements, and other electrical components associated with the installations.
Perform replacements of electrical components and small repair and adaptation interventions on installations.
Check the correct functioning of electrical systems and collaborate in the commissioning of installations following interventions.
Detect possible anomalies and propose improvements to prevent faults and guarantee continuity of service.
Record the work performed and communicate detected incidents.
Strictly comply with work procedures and safety and occupational risk prevention regulations.

How you'll work

Location: Málaga city and travel (no overnight stays) around the Western Costa del Sol (Málaga).

Schedule: Intensive working day from Monday to Friday.
