Requirements

What we're looking for

Vocational Training in Automotive, Mechanics, or similar.
Minimum experience of 1 year in related positions.
Experience in handling measurement equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges.
Knowledge in handling control tools, such as gauges.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
Experience in handling test benches for engines and subassemblies.

Nice to have

It will be positively valued to have training in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

We are collaborating with GRUPO JPG, a leading company in the Defense sector in Spain, specializing in engineering, maintenance, and spare parts, which is looking to hire a Junior Measurement Mechanic for its workshop located in Madrid.

If you have training in Automotive, Mechanics or similar, you have experience in measurements and quality control of components, and you know how to interpret technical drawings, this could be your opportunity to continue developing professionally in the industrial sector!

What you'll do

Perform metrological controls of materials and components in the workshop.
Carry out technical inspections of received materials.
Use measurement equipment and verification tools, such as calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and gauges.
Perform validation tests of engines and subassemblies on test benches.
Interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
Record the results obtained and prepare the technical documentation corresponding to the measurements and tests performed.
