The role

At MARLEX PEOPLE, we are looking for you! We collaborate with a major company in the non-hazardous waste management and recovery sector that needs to hire a Plant Laborer in CASARES (Málaga).

What are we looking for?

· We are looking for an operational, responsible, and organized profile, with the willingness to perform manual sorting and cleaning tasks in the plant.

· Previous experience in recycling plants, industrial environments, warehouses, or industrial cleaning will be valued.

Your day-to-day

· Sorting of non-hazardous waste received in bulk or in bales: cardboard, paper, plastic, wood, scrap metal, and other fractions.

· Separation and placement of each material in the corresponding area, following plant instructions.

· Cleaning of floors with a brush and maintaining clear walkways and work areas.

· Removal of accumulated dust from the baling press.

· Pressure washing of plant machinery according to the established procedure.

· General maintenance of order and communication of incidents or risk situations.

What do we need from you?

· No specific qualification is required; experience in plants, recycling, or industrial cleaning will be valued.

· Availability to perform physical work, stand for long periods, and work in an industrial environment with dust and noise.

· Rigor in correctly classifying materials and keeping the work area clean.

· A responsible, proactive, and collaborative attitude, with special attention to safety regulations.
