Requirements

What we're looking for

You are a machining technician, an industrial equipment maintenance technician, or have an engineering degree.
You have a proactive attitude and an orientation toward continuous improvement
You like and enjoy working on the ground and with a good team. That you have the capacity for diagnosis and resolution of technical problems
You reside near Las Torres de Cotillas (Murcia) and have your own vehicle.
And most importantly: you have a great desire to work and grow within the company

The role

At Paul Marlex we are collaborating with a leading business group in the industrial sector located in the Murcia area, in the search for a Plant Maintenance Mechanic who wants to develop and grow within the company.

What you'll do

Execute preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance work on industrial machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns affecting the operation of the production facilities.
Perform disassembly, assembly, adjustment, and replacement of mechanical components.
Intervene in transmission elements, bearings, gears, shafts, couplings, and drive systems.
Perform adjustment, alignment, and inspection operations of mechanical assemblies.
Detect wear, clearances, vibrations, and other defects that may cause breakdowns or production stops.
Execute periodic inspections of machinery, auxiliary equipment, and facilities.
Collaborate in the installation, assembly, and commissioning of new equipment or machinery modifications.
Perform basic welding and machining work, when necessary and when the corresponding qualification is held.
Collaborate with the electrical team in resolving breakdowns that require joint intervention.
Record the work performed and communicate the incidents detected during interventions.
Comply with safety, lockout, and tagout procedures for equipment, as well as occupational risk prevention regulations.
Propose technical improvements that contribute to increasing the reliability and availability of the machinery.
