Requirements

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance.

The role

From Marlex People we collaborate with a business group in the metallurgical sector located in Vic, which is looking to hire an Industrial Maintenance Technician to strengthen the plant team on the afternoon shift.

What you'll do

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on machinery and installations.

• Diagnosing and resolving faults in a metallurgical industrial environment.

• Monitoring the proper functioning of production equipment.

• Supporting technical improvements and process optimization.

• Coordinating occasionally with the other maintenance technician to ensure operational continuity.

How you'll work

The selected candidate will start with a split shift to facilitate the adaptation and training process, and will later move to a fixed afternoon shift. They will work alongside another technician, but with a high degree of autonomy in their day-to-day tasks.
