What we're looking for
We are looking for a committed, resourceful person who enjoys technical work and wants to continue growing professionally.
- Vocational training (Intermediate or Higher Level) in Electricity, Electrical Installations, HVAC, Thermal Installations, Electromechanics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
- Knowledge of electricity, HVAC, aerothermal energy, plumbing, and comprehensive building maintenance.
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation.
- Valid driver's license (Class B) and availability to travel between different client locations in the Community of Madrid.
Nice to have
- Training in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL).
- RITE certification.
- Experience with thermal installations and aerothermal systems.

The role
At Marlex, we collaborate with a company specialized in comprehensive maintenance and installations, offering technical solutions in electricity, HVAC, aerothermal energy, and plumbing for clients in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors in the Community of Madrid.
Currently, we are looking to bring on a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the technical team and participate in the preventive and corrective maintenance of various installations, ensuring the proper operation of equipment and the quality of service.
What you'll do
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper condition and operation of client installations by carrying out maintenance work and technical interventions.
Your main responsibilities will be
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, HVAC, aerothermal, and plumbing installations.
- Diagnose breakdowns and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Carry out minor repairs and installations when necessary.
- Installations in small construction works: masonry, electricity, plumbing.
- Inspect the condition of equipment and installations to ensure their proper operation.
- Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Complete work reports and report any detected issues.
- Coordinate actions with the Maintenance Manager and the rest of the technical team.
- Travel to different client installations within the Community of Madrid.
- Comply with quality, safety, and occupational risk prevention standards.
