Requirements

What we're looking for

10 years of experience (with a solid previous background as a developer, etc.) in digital product, with at least 3 years leading development teams (min. 3-6 people).

Solid and current technical background, with a previous career as a full stack developer: capable of reviewing code, making architectural decisions, and contributing directly when necessary.

Ability to take charge of a large legacy codebase, maintain it, and modernize it incrementally.

Experience integrating third-party APIs and managing mobile apps in the App Store and Google Play.

Real experience with agile methodologies and with AI tools applied to product development.

High business orientation. Full mastery of Spanish and English.

One of our partners, a company based in Barcelona, is looking for a CTO - CPO to lead product and technology from a strategic, management, and business vision.

What you'll do

As CTO - CPO, reporting directly to General Management and with your own team, you will convert business needs into an executable roadmap, direct the development team, and guarantee the solidity, security, and continuity of production systems. Your mission will be to evolve the technological platform that supports the company's operation, using proprietary technology as a competitive advantage, and preparing the ground for the company to become a benchmark.

Lead the full cycle of functionality definition, in continuous contact with operations and customers.

Leverage AI tools to prototype and channel validated prototypes toward the development team.

Lead the development team and internalize it.

Evolve the management-backoffice platform: integration of new operations, refactoring, and technical debt control.

Guarantee the cloud infrastructure, tested backups, access, and a continuity plan.

Ensure that technical and procedural documentation exists and that no critical component depends on a single person.

Drive reliable business analytics and dashboards.

What we need

Desirable: experience in e-commerce or mobility, and having worked in a startup or an exponentially growing company.
