The role
We are looking for a Systems Administrator to ensure the reliable, secure, and uninterrupted operation of the IT systems of our hotels and golf courses in Spain. Since our operations run 24/7 and span several geographical locations, the position requires frequent on-site travel. We currently have several active projects in the Balearic Islands and the mainland, so travel may also include various locations.
What you'll do
● Administer and support servers, equipment, network devices, and Wi-Fi in hotels and golf courses.
● Provide first and second-level support to hotel and golf staff, prioritizing incidents affecting guests, payments, and revenue.
● Manage user accounts, permissions, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) applying the principle of least privilege.
● Monitor systems and logs, and participate in the weekly on-call rotation outside of regular hours.
● Support core applications: Oracle OPERA Cloud (PMS), Oracle MICROS Simphony (POS), VingCard (ASSA ABLOY) key systems, and Golfmanager v1 (golf PMS).
● Collaborate on integrations between PMS, POS, key systems, payment gateways, and reporting.
● Support the openings and migrations of new hotels, including system installation and configuration, acceptance testing, cutover planning, and rollback plans.
● Apply patches, hardening, and endpoint protection standards across all sites.
● Implement and verify backups according to the 3-2-1 rule, and participate in disaster recovery testing.
● Support GDPR compliance and PCI DSS requirements for payment systems.
● Participate in security incident response and collect evidence for internal and external audits.
● Record, track, and resolve incidents, requests, and changes in our ITSM tool, following ITIL best practices.
● Document procedures (runbooks, checklists, network diagrams) and maintain an updated configuration inventory.
● Participate in post-incident reviews and continuous improvement.
● Perform on-site installations, equipment renewals, and support during go-lives for new or existing properties.
● Travel between properties for on-site work, maintenance windows, and go-live support.
● Coordinate with vendors (internet providers, POS integrators, key providers, PMS and golf software providers) and enforce compliance with agreed SLAs.
