What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supplier management, or similar functions.
Experience in supplier communication and follow-up.
Knowledge of SAP in product quality and/or production processes.
Advanced use of Excel.
Intermediate Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio).
Organizational, communication, and relationship management skills with suppliers and customers.
Proactivity and willingness to acquire new knowledge.
Availability to work on-site in Torrejón de Ardoz.

Nice to have

Experience in any of the following areas: radio frequency, electronics, or mechanics. Experience in all three is not required.
Experience in purchasing or procurement in industrial environments.
Experience in production control, planning, or monitoring.
Commercial experience related to components or products in the indicated categories.

The role

At Métrica, we are looking for a Purchasing and Supplier Management Technician with experience in purchasing, procurement, or supplier management to join a project in the Defense sector, linked to the areas of radio frequency, electronics, and mechanics.

What you'll do

Manage the relationship and communication with suppliers and customers.
Participate in the purchasing and procurement activities of the assigned categories.
Perform follow-up with suppliers and production needs.
Collaborate in production control and planning.
Conduct visits to suppliers when necessary.
Use SAP and Excel for the management and monitoring of the area's information.

How you'll work

Permanent contract
Location: Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid
Modality: 100% on-site.
SBA 30-34K, depending on fit and experience
