• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration with technical experience or related degrees.

Profiles with technical training complemented by solid experience in industrial purchasing will also be valued.

• Between 3 and 6 years of experience in technical or industrial purchasing.

🎯 Technical Purchasing Specialist – Energy, Construction and Environment

At Grupo IGNEO, a leading multinational in engineering, we are looking to incorporate a Technical Purchasing Specialist to strategically manage both direct purchases linked to EPC projects for electric mobility, energy, environment and infrastructure, as well as the indirect purchases necessary for the operation of the organization.

We are looking for a profile with experience in technical purchasing, high analytical and negotiation skills, focused on cost optimization and supplier development, who wants to evolve towards a strategic role with a projection towards purchasing management in Spain and Portugal.

🔧 Main Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage the purchase of materials and equipment for electric mobility, energy, environment and infrastructure projects.

• Acquire electrical components, electrical panels, protections, wiring, conduits, supports, consumables and spare parts.

• Manage purchases for EPC projects and engineering projects in all their phases.

• Analyze technical alternatives together with Engineering and Operations to optimize costs, deadlines and quality.

• Manage corporate purchases such as:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Collective Protective Equipment (CPE).

  • Leasing.

  • Office supplies.

  • General services.

  • Telecommunications.

  • Other corporate supplies.

• Manage the contracting of companies and specialized professionals linked to engineering projects.

• Contract services of:

Strategic supplier management

• Identify, evaluate and develop new suppliers in Spain and, progressively, in Portugal.

• Manage technical, financial and documentary homologation processes.

Negotiation and cost optimization

• Lead negotiations aimed at Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

• Analyze market trends and price evolution.

• Detect savings opportunities through framework agreements, purchase standardization and demand consolidation.

• Manage incidents, claims, returns and renegotiations with suppliers.

• Work in a coordinated manner with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Management Control to optimize costs and monitor the economic follow-up of purchases.

Purchasing management and digitalization

• Manage the complete Procure-to-Pay process through ERP.

• Prepare dashboards and indicators.

• Analyze spending, forecasts, deviations and optimization opportunities.

• Use Artificial Intelligence tools to speed up the analysis of offers, preparation of documentation and internal processes, always guaranteeing the confidentiality of the information.
