Regional Platform Manager

• Vocational training, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent.
• 5 years of previous experience as a Logistics Platform Manager. Demonstrated knowledge in Transport, Logistics, operator management, and Lean.
• Intermediate English.
• Advanced proficiency in office tools (advanced Excel) and data analysis (Power BI or similar).

•  Valuable: Experience in the retail or wholesale sector.

We are currently looking for a Regional Platform Manager to join the Logistics team at Plataforma El Prat de LLobregat. Below, we tell you all the details of the role:

Your mission; to comprehensively lead the regional platform, ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-oriented operation. Coordinate reception from national platforms, pre-picking, and regional order preparation, as well as distribution to the final customer, guaranteeing Makro's service level, availability, quality, and target cost.​

• You will lead the national temperature-controlled operation, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• You will supervise processes and services; stock control, cleaning, machinery, waste management, and quality certifications.
• You will optimize and work on continuous improvement, applying efficiency methodologies, reducing costs, and improving service throughout the logistics chain.
• You will lead the logistics team, coordinating with company centers, logistics operators, and the platform ownership.
• You will manage financial and administrative activity; you will prepare budgets, control costs, and manage payments to suppliers.

At an organizational level:  

• You will report to the National Platform Manager.
• You will manage a team of approximately 15 people.
