About the role

We are looking for a professional to join the project to support the company's integration in improving accounting processes with the Workday implementation.

What you'll do

Support to the Finance Department and its team in:

  • Channeling the Workday implementation. Aligning with the team responsible for integration aspects: from payroll systems, from the policy management system or transactional systems, from treasury software, etc.
  • Ensuring, together with the internal team (mainly 6 people) and especially the external team (at least 15 people), that the migration occurs, and that the integration systems function so that information is available in Workday adequately for accounting. If necessary, interact with the COO who is responsible for some of these systems to be integrated.
  • Leading the training process for the entire team on the tool. Guidance, etc.
  • Leading accounting processes from the moment work begins on the system, to ensure, together with both teams, that results are delivered on time and in the proper form.
  • Leading the preparation process for internal reports and consolidated reports to be extracted from the system (here, there is also support from the external consolidation team).

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in day-to-day accounting management, handling accounting entries, issued and received invoicing, SII, and occasionally electronic invoicing.
  • Experience in medium-large companies.
  • Organized, methodical person with attention to detail.
  • Mastery of the Spanish General Accounting Plan (PGC).
  • Experience in consolidation.
  • Experience in accounting audit processes, liaison, and responding to their requirements.
  • Experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings.
  • Accustomed to working with high volumes of data and in ERP environments. Specifically, proven experience with Workday.
  • Very high Excel level: advanced use of formulas.
  • High level of Power Query to edit and transform large volumes of data into Excel from PDF, XML, and other formats.
  • High level of Power Pivot and DAX formulas for creating models from different data sources.
