About the role

We are looking for a Data Architect to lead the definition and evolution of the corporate data architecture, ensuring quality, governance, and proper information flow from transactional systems to the analytical ecosystem. You will play a strategic role in driving data standardization, supporting analytics and AI, and collaborating with multiple technical and business areas.

  • You will participate in projects involving cutting-edge technologies.
  • You will have autonomy to propose solutions and lead technically.

What you'll do

  • Define and evolve the end-to-end corporate data architecture.
  • Establish robust architectural patterns: batch/stream, CDC, API-first, MDM, lineage, security, etc.
  • Participate in the design of the transactional architecture, ensuring consistency and quality from the source.
  • Analyze transactional systems to understand data location and flow.
  • Design logical and physical models for key banking domains.
  • Identify and resolve structural data quality issues alongside Data Governance.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers on ingestion and transformation pipelines (Data Lake / DWH).
  • Define criteria for versioning, partitioning, historical data management, performance, and DataOps.
  • Ensure the architecture supports regulatory reporting, corporate metrics, and AI use cases.
  • Align models with Machine Learning needs (features, operations, production).
  • Coordinate with Architecture, Development, Operations, Risk, Marketing, Finance, and transactional teams.
  • Lead technical discussions with vendors to ensure quality in integrations.
  • Drive the implementation of the architecture and technical pipelines.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (DORA, GDPR, banking regulations) and design resilient architectures.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.
  • Solid experience in cloud (ideally: Snowflake + AWS).
  • Deep knowledge of banking transactional models.
  • Experience designing dimensional models (Kimball) and domain-driven design (Data Mesh / BIAN desirable).
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Fivetran, Airbyte, Talend, Nifi…).
  • Advanced SQL.
  • Knowledge of MDM, CDC, Data Quality, Metadata, and Data Lineage.
  • Strategic vision and ability to simplify complex architectures.
  • Excellent communication skills and technical leadership.
  • Technical rigor, focus on excellence, and resilience in complex environments.

What you'll get

  • Permanent contract: annual gross salary (depending on technical interview).
  • Hybrid remote work schedule.
  • 24 working days of vacation.
  • Remote work expense compensation (proportional to remote days).
  • Flexible compensation: up to €500/month.
  • Social benefits (Cobee): annual allowance of €1200 for food, transportation, health insurance, childcare, or training.
  • Option to continue using benefits through flexible compensation.
  • MyLearningHub: training platform with varied and accessible content.
  • Wellhub: sports activities and wellness.
  • Employee Assistance Program (Lyra): confidential support from professionals.
  • The Genuine Travel: exclusive travel benefits.
  • Discount portal for shops and services.
