University degree in a technical field, such as Engineering, Architecture, or Technical Architecture.
Previous experience in a similar position, with experience as an insurance surveyor being especially valued.
Experience in the insurance sector and in the investigation and valuation of claims will be valued.
Capacity for analysis, investigation, and preparation of technical reports.
Organizational, self-management, and problem-solving skills.
Capacity for teamwork, responsibility, and attention to detail.

Previous experience in the valuation and review of budgets.

The role

DEKRA España, a global organization with more than 50,000 employees and a presence in more than 60 countries, is looking to hire a Digital Miscellaneous Risks Surveyor (m/f/d) for its DEKRA Claims & Expertise division, within the Miscellaneous/Property area in Lugo.

We offer you the opportunity to be part of a team specialized in damage management and assessment, participating in the investigation of claims and in the preparation of expert reports to determine their origin and cause.

What you'll do

We are looking for a professional with technical training and analytical capacity, who will be responsible for investigating the circumstances in which claims occur, identifying their possible causes, and preparing expert reports that allow for the proper assessment of damages and the clarification of their origin.

What you will do on a day-to-day basis

Preparation of expert reports related to claims in the field of Miscellaneous Risks/Property.
Investigation of the origin and cause of occurrence of the claims.
Analysis of the circumstances in which the damages occur and collection of the information necessary for their valuation.
Inspection and evaluation of damages to determine their possible causes and scope.
Preparation of technical reports with the conclusions of the expert investigation.
Review of documentation related to claims and analysis of available information.
Collaboration with the Claims & Expertise team and the area manager to guarantee the quality of the reports and the service provided.
