The role

We are looking for a Finance Director to join a solid company in the industrial and food sector, with a strong orientation towards planning, operational efficiency, and long-term financial management. The position will report directly to the General Management and will play a key role in the financial sustainability and growth of the business. (30-45 minutes from the center of Badajoz)

What you'll do

Lead the integral management of the company's treasury, guaranteeing the availability of financial resources for daily activity and business growth.
Prepare and supervise short, medium, and long-term financial and treasury forecasts, working with planning horizons of up to 18 months.
Manage and optimize working capital, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
Negotiate credit lines, policies, confirming, factoring, and other operational financing tools with financial entities. Experience regarding banks and corporate finance is especially relevant for the position.
Design financing strategies that allow for facing a complex and highly competitive market environment.
Perform monitoring and control of costs, margins, and profitability by business line, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
Support the General Management in strategic decision-making through rigorous financial analysis and business scenarios.
Supervise the areas of administration, accounting, taxation, management control, and financial reporting. These responsibilities form part of the usual scope of the position.
Implement and improve internal control procedures and financial risk management.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?

University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Valuable previous experience in Big4.
Consolidated experience in Finance Director or Financial Responsibility positions in industrial, productive, or tight-margin environments.
Demonstrable experience in bank negotiation, corporate finance, and working capital management.
Solid knowledge of treasury, financial planning, and cost control.
Ability to combine strategic and operational vision.
High analytical capacity, results orientation, and negotiation skills.
