Profile we are looking for

We are looking for a professional with a business vision, analytical capacity, and sufficient experience to act not only as the person responsible for financial data, but as a strategic partner to the Presidency and the Management Committee.

• Consolidated experience as a Financial Director, CFO, Group Financial Manager, or equivalent position.
• Experience working with multiple companies, complex business structures, or consolidated groups.
• Solid knowledge of financial and analytical accounting.
• Experience in consolidation, budgeting, management control, and reporting.
• High level of knowledge in taxation and tax matters.
• Demonstrable experience in negotiation and relationship management with banking entities.
• Capacity to analyze investments, financing, and capital structure.
• Strategic vision and business orientation.
• Capacity for communication with the Presidency, General Management, auditors, banks, advisors, and Public Administrations.
• Leadership, judgment, discretion, and high organizational capacity.

We will particularly value:

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar degrees.
• Postgraduate studies, MBA, Financial Management, or similar will be valued positively.

CFO - Group Financial Director

At ConfiARTE, a consultancy specializing in executive talent selection and strategic profiles, we are selecting a CFO - Group Financial Director to join a business group based in Granada with an approximate consolidated turnover of 65 million euros.

We are looking for a professional with a solid track record in financial management who wants to assume a position of maximum responsibility, with the capacity to consolidate the Group's financial function, provide strategic vision, and participate actively in decision-making from the Management Committee.

The position will report directly to the Presidency and will work transversally with General Management and the heads of the various companies and business areas.

Your mission

Assume the integral economic-financial management of the Group, guaranteeing the control, reliability, and consolidation of financial information while simultaneously turning the financial area into a true tool for strategic decision-making.

The CFO will have a global vision of the different companies within the Group and will be a key figure in financial planning, management control, taxation, financing, and the relationship with banking entities.

Main responsibilities

Financial management and strategy

• Define, together with the Presidency and Management Committee, the Group's economic-financial strategy.
• Participate actively in the main corporate decisions, investments, financing, and growth.
• Prepare short, medium, and long-term financial plans.
• Analyze scenarios, financial risks, financing needs, and investment opportunities.
• Provide the Presidency and Management with reliable, clear financial information oriented toward decision-making.

Consolidation and financial control of the Group

• Coordinate and supervise the financial information of the different companies.
• Guarantee the correct economic-financial consolidation of the Group.
• Implement and develop homogeneous procedures for control, reporting, and monitoring.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Develop dashboards and financial indicators for activity monitoring.
• Analyze profitability by company, project, business unit, or line of activity.

Accounting and closings

• Supervise the general and analytical accounting of the companies.
• Guarantee rigorous and timely monthly and annual closings.
• Coordinate balance sheets, profit and loss statements, financial statements, and consolidated reporting.
• Supervise provisions, accruals, depreciation, assets, current assets, and treasury.
• Coordinate external audits and the relationship with financial and accounting advisors.

Taxation and tax compliance

• Supervise the Group's fiscal and tax strategy.
• Guarantee correct compliance with the tax obligations of the different companies.
• Coordinate settlements, declarations, and tax procedures.
• Manage the relationship with tax advisors, auditors, and Public Administrations.
• Analyze the tax impact of corporate operations, investments, and business decisions.

Treasury and financing

• Direct the planning and control of the Group's treasury.
• Manage forecasts for collections, payments, and working capital needs.
• Optimize the financial structure and sources of financing.
• Lead negotiations with banks and financial entities.
• Negotiate credit lines, project financing, guarantees, confirming, factoring, and other financial instruments.
• Analyze and optimize financial costs and banking conditions.
• Maintain permanent, high-level communication with the main financial entities.

Organization and leadership

• Lead and coordinate the administrative, accounting, and financial teams.
• Professionalize procedures and control systems.
• Drive the digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement of financial processes.
• Promote a culture of rigor, anticipation, transparency, and business orientation.
