Financial Controller

Important agricultural company it is looking for a financial controller with at least 4-5 years of previous experience in a similar role. The selected candidate must have an excellent level of excel and a high level of English.#JoinMichaelPage

Financial Administration

• Data input of purchase invoices.
• Data input of sales invoices.
• Credit control including payment run preparation.
• Company secretary duties.
• Payroll preparation and filings.

Financial Management

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Reconciliation of Balance Sheet.
• Preparation of annual financial statements.
• Leading the year end audit.
• Preparation of all statutory filings.
• Preparation of budgets, working with farm managers to complete.
• Preparation of cashflows, working with farm managers and investment team for capex and opex requirements.

Tax Support

• Preparation and filing of VAT returns.
• Preparation and filing of annual tax returns that are applicable to the business.
• Assist with CBC tax reporting.

Important agricultural company based in Madrid.

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA preferred).
• Good communication skills both verbal and written in Spanish and English. Portuguese would also be advantageous.
• Prior experience managing multiple entities.
• Prior experience in all areas of the finance function.
• Experience in agriculture sectors would be preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work on own and without team while the company is still in its early stages.
