The role

What you'll do

Financial Administration

Data input of purchase invoices.
Data input of sales invoices.
Credit control including payment run preparation.
Company secretary duties.
Payroll preparation and filings.

Financial Management

Preparation of monthly management accounts.
Reconciliation of Balance Sheet.
Preparation of annual financial statements.
Leading the year end audit.
Preparation of all statutory filings.
Preparation of budgets, working with farm managers to complete.
Preparation of cashflows, working with farm managers and investment team for capex and opex requirements.

Tax Support

Preparation and filing of VAT returns.
Preparation and filing of annual tax returns that are applicable to the business.
Assist with CBC tax reporting.

Resumen

Important agricultural company it is looking for a financial controller with at least 4-5 years of previous experience in a similar role. The selected candidate must have an excellent level of excel and a high level of English.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA preferred).
Good communication skills both verbal and written in Spanish and English. Portuguese would also be advantageous.
Prior experience managing multiple entities.
Prior experience in all areas of the finance function.
Experience in agriculture sectors would be preferred.
Advanced Excel skills.
Ability to work on own and without team while the company is still in its early stages.
