Requirements

What we're looking for

University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the energy sector, preferably in an energy trading company.
Proficiency in office tools, with advanced Excel.
Experience in using Power BI as a Business Intelligence tool.
Experience in managing data from ERP and CRM, ideally SIGE (Pool) and Hubspot.
Skills for change management and continuous improvement.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team, as well as in close collaboration with other departments.
Fluent English, spoken and written.

One of our clients located in Barcelona, belonging to the energy sector, is looking to match with a Financial Controller.

What you'll do

Ensure national and international accounting and tax compliance in coordination with accounting and administration.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and prepare the Annual Accounts, coordinating with external auditors.
Participate in the budgeting process and results analysis, identifying deviations and proposing improvements.
Control recurring expenses and income, cash-flow, and balances to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare financial reports and ad-hoc analyses, including deviations in sales, margins, and costs.
Manage information through ERP (SIGE/SIGE Pool), CRM (Hubspot), and accounting software (A3).
Implement and use Power BI for dashboards and reporting.
Collaborate in the implementation of new tools and process improvement, optimizing the integration and flow of information between areas.
