What you'll do
Strategic & Business Leadership
- Full ownership and accountability for the Business Unit P&L, ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives, revenue growth and financial targets.
- Define and implement the long-term business strategy for the Business Unit division across Iberia and selected international markets.
- Identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities, strategic partnerships and revenue streams to support sustainable growth and monetisation.
- Lead and execute high-impact strategic initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Support the assessment, negotiation and integration of potential M&A opportunities, joint ventures or strategic alliances within the entertainment sector.
- Continuously monitor market trends, audience behaviour and competitive dynamics to position the business unit as a leading player within the Business Unit and live entertainment space.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee the operational management and successful delivery of all business activities, ensuring best-in-class execution across actions.
- Drive operational efficiencies, process optimisation and scalability across the business unit.
- Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration between Finance, Marketing, Operations, Ticketing, Legal, HR and other internal stakeholders.
- Establish performance metrics and reporting structures to monitor business performance and support data-driven decision making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards and operational best practices.
Commercial & Industry Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external clients and partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations and strategic partnership discussions to maximise business opportunities and profitability.
- Drive innovation in audience engagement, fan experience and experiential concepts within the business segment.
- Represent the business unit externally, strengthening the company's positioning and reputation within the entertainment industry.
Financial & Performance Management
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes for the business unit.
- Ensure achievement of profitability targets while balancing operational excellence, business growth and investment priorities.
- Partner closely with Finance teams to strengthen reporting accuracy, forecasting capabilities and financial controls.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and develop robust business cases for new initiatives and expansion projects.
- Monitor financial and operational KPIs, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Leadership & Team Management
- Build, lead and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams across the business unit.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, agility and continuous improvement.
- Coach, mentor and develop senior leaders and high-potential talent within the organisation.
- Promote an entrepreneurial, resilient and hands-on leadership style, encouraging innovation and ownership at all levels of the business.
