The role

Drive the collection of public and private funds for the Spanish Committee of UNHCR in the Basque Country by identifying and managing funding opportunities, developing strategic alliances with public institutions, companies, and foundations, and formulating, monitoring, and justifying international cooperation projects, humanitarian action, and awareness and advocacy initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Drive the collection of public and private funds within the assigned territory, contributing to the fulfillment of the organization's funding objectives.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop funding opportunities from public administrations, cooperation agencies, companies, foundations, and other potential funders.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with funders and strategic partners, acting as a spokesperson regarding institutional and private funding.
  • Contribute to the preparation and presentation of technical and economic proposals for international cooperation and humanitarian action projects.
  • Analyze calls for proposals, trends, and funder priorities to identify new opportunities and strengthen the organization's positioning.
  • Prepare monitoring, impact, and accountability materials aimed at funders and strategic allies, performing the adaptation of technical proposals.
  • Keep information on opportunities, proposals, and projects updated in Salesforce and other corporate management tools.
  • Collaborate with the Projects and Institutional Relations, Companies and Foundations, Philanthropy, Finance, and Compliance areas to maximize funding opportunities and ensure proper management of the funds obtained.
  • Generate synergies with Face to Face, Advocacy and Global Citizenship Education (EpCG), and Communication to drive joint initiatives and reinforce the institutional positioning of the Spanish Committee of UNHCR in the Basque territory.
  • Participate actively in internal and external coordination spaces related to funding, alliances, and project management in the Basque territory.
  • Support the administration and operational coordination of the territorial office - Bilbao Delegation.

Who are we looking for (M/F/D)?
