We are looking for a Team Lead for the Frontend team. They are currently building a new e-commerce product from scratch and need this profile to define its frontend architecture and set the technical direction from day one.

  • Location: Zaragoza
  • Product company

What you'll do

  • Lead and coordinate the frontend development team.
  • You will be the main technical point of contact for the design and backend teams.
  • Define the frontend architecture of a new e-commerce product, together with the architecture team.
  • Design components that work both independently and integrated into a complete online store.
  • Integrate and promote our design system across the entire component library.
  • Maintain and support the current system until it is fully replaced.
  • Contribute to team growth: identify and attract frontend talent as we scale.
  • Guide the frontend team, conduct code reviews, and establish coding standards that everyone must follow.
  • Collaborate with the backend team on API contracts and authentication flows for the public.

What we're looking for

The selected candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • English proficiency: you will work daily with international teams and write technical documentation.
  • 5+ years of experience with Angular, including Angular Elements and custom elements.
  • Proven experience building and implementing web components for third parties, not just internal single-page applications (SPAs).
  • Strong knowledge of micro-frontend patterns and component-based architecture.
  • Hands-on experience integrating and implementing a design system (Storybook or similar).
  • Ability to take ownership of architectural decisions and guide others.

What you'll get

  • Real scale, real impact: your work is deployed daily to hundreds of clients using our platforms.
  • Modern technology: cloud-native, multi-user, and state-of-the-art architecture. This product has no legacy components.
  • International focus: collaborate with engineering teams in other European countries.
  • Full ownership: a new product where your work helps define its foundation.
