With operations in over 150 countries and roughly 91,000 employees, the company is one of the world's largest packaged food companies, focusing on biscuits, chocolate, and baked snacks. The company was formed in 2012 when Kraft Foods split into two entities, with Mondelez taking the global snacks business.

In Spain, Mondelez has a significant manufacturing footprint, with major plants in Granollers (Barcelona), Viana (Navarra), and Orbigo (León), where many of the current open roles are based. These sites offer structured internship and leadership development programs (such as the "Taste the Future" engineering and supply chain tracks) that are designed to bring in international talent.
