The role

We are looking to hire a Project Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to reinforce the Logistics and Warehouse area within the Energy and Facilities Directorate, participating directly in the logistical planning, control, and supervision of our projects.

The main mission of this position is to coordinate and supervise all logistical activities associated with a project, ensuring the efficient management of transport, reception, storage, distribution, and control of materials on-site. Their work will be key to guaranteeing compliance with schedules, quality standards, applicable regulations, and project cost objectives.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate the reception and storage of materials on-site, ensuring their correct arrival, organization, and preservation.

  • Control the delivery of material to subcontractors. Control the return of material from subcontractors to be able to know at all times how much material has been delivered to each subcontractor and whether it is necessary to make any financial charge to them, and to avoid lack of knowledge regarding what has happened to the material (theft, loss, breakage, etc.)

  • Coordinate with the Quality department for the inspection of materials arriving at the project, detecting defective materials, either because they arrived that way from the supplier or because they have deteriorated on-site. Carry out the appropriate returns and/or material changes with the involved supplier to foresee stockouts and ensure that the appropriate materials for installation are available at all times.

  • Supervise the transport and distribution of materials, planning and controlling logistical movements to meet project milestones.

  • Design the project logistics plan, aligning procurement strategies and material flows with deadline and cost objectives.

  • Control stock and coordinate the replenishment of materials according to operational needs.

  • Coordinate agreements, timing, and deliveries with external actors: suppliers, carriers, and logistics operators.

  • Verify that all logistical operations comply with legal, corporate, quality, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Control the logistics costs associated with the project.

  • Prepare periodic logistics reports to facilitate decision-making.

  • Coordinate the management of waste and surplus materials, optimizing resources and complying with environmental regulations.

  • Organize and manage the human resources in charge, promoting development, communication, and teamwork.

  • Comply with and enforce the guidelines of the Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety, and Sustainability).
