Requirements

What we're looking for

Work according to established quality, safety, and order (5S) processes.

Minimum of 2 years of experience having managed a small group of workers in the automotive, plastics, or continuous processes industry.

Initiative, responsibility, strong interest in continuous improvement, and teamwork skills.
Own vehicle.
Availability: immediate.

Nice to have

Experience in thermoplastic extrusion processes may be valued.

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

Permanent contract.
Full-time.
Schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with one hour for lunch.
Meals paid for by the company.
Salary according to experience provided, around 26k + overtime, night shifts (if necessary), and a production bonus.

The role

At Nortempo Selección, we are looking for a Production Technician for the TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomers) area. The person hired will be a key figure within the production process, participating in the organization and monitoring of the line's activity, ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety regulations. They will have a prominent role in the coordination of daily work and in the continuous improvement of processes to guarantee production objectives.

What you'll do

Detect, analyze, and resolve process issues effectively and autonomously.
Bring experience in automotive environments, complying with industry standards.
Understand and apply the TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomers) extrusion process.
Propose and implement technical and process improvements focused on quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Interpret drawings, technical data sheets, and process documentation for proper product manufacturing.
Control product characteristics (dimensions, surface finish, Shore hardness).
Support basic equipment maintenance, ensuring proper operation.
Coordinate with other departments (quality, maintenance, engineering, and production) for continuous process improvement.
