Senior Consultant - Securitization & Structured Finance 📍 Madrid | Hybrid Model There are financial profiles that work around an operation. And there are others who need to understand what is happening inside it: how assets behave, how cash flows evolve, where the risk truly lies, and what hypotheses explain the result of a model. We are looking precisely for that second profile. At NTT DATA, we want to bring in a person with solid experience in securitization and structured finance who wants to continue deepening this specialization, working with financial entities on projects where analysis does not stop at producing a model: it must be understood, questioned, and converted into useful conclusions for decision-making. In the financial sector, we work alongside large organizations on complex challenges where you will be able to continue developing a specialization that is hard to find in the market and progressively assume greater autonomy when facing the client. 🎯 The Challenge You will participate in projects related to securitization, structured finance, financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and credit risk, working with financial information and loan-level data. Depending on the project and the type of operation, you may work on different structures and assets, deepening both their financial logic and their behavior and main risk mechanisms. We are not looking solely for experience executing models. We are looking for the ability to understand what lies behind them, question hypotheses, and clearly explain what the results mean. 🔎 What will you do? Analyze securitization and structured finance operations, understanding their structure, underlying assets, protection mechanisms, and main risk factors. Develop, review, and question financial models and securitization models, including hypotheses, cash flows, amortization profiles, and scenarios. Analyze portfolios and loan-level data, identifying trends, asset behavior, and relevant credit risk metrics. Convert complex quantitative and financial analyses into solid conclusions and recommendations for the client. Prepare and defend deliverables with autonomy, maintaining direct communication with clients and different stakeholders. Detect risks, inconsistencies, or hypotheses that need to be tested and propose alternative analyses. Coordinate certain analyses and provide technical support to people with less experience, helping to raise the quality of the team's work. Contribute to evolving models, methodologies, and analytical processes, incorporating automation when it adds value. 🧩 What we are looking for We are especially interested in your candidacy if you have around 5-6 years of experience and have developed a relevant part of your career in securitization, structured finance, or directly related fields. We expect you to be able to contribute: Practical experience developing, using, or reviewing securitization or structured finance models. Solid knowledge of cash flows, portfolio behavior, credit risk, and structural mechanisms of these types of operations. Experience analyzing underlying assets, different tranches, and loan-level financial data. Ability to go beyond calculation and question hypotheses, interpret results, and draw your own conclusions. Advanced level of Excel and fluency working with high volumes of financial information. Autonomy to organize analysis, take responsibility for deliverables, and maintain communication with the client. Fluent Spanish and English, as you will work in international contexts. It will be especially interesting to have previously worked in banking, financial institutions, rating agencies, investment, or financial advisory. Experience with Python, SQL, or other analytical tools will be a plus, especially if you have used them to gain efficiency in analysis or modeling. 🚀 Why might this challenge interest you?
