Tax and Accounting Advisor

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field - or equivalent professional qualification

• More than 2 years working in an advisory firm or accounting firm in Spain, managing your own client portfolio

• Experience managing 25 or more SME clients simultaneously - you know what it takes to manage multiple deadlines without anything slipping through the cracks

• Solid mastery of accounting fundamentals: accounts receivable and payable, bank and credit card reconciliations, general ledger, journal entries and accruals, monthly and annual closing, fixed assets and depreciation, classification of expenses and income

• Good knowledge of Spanish tax legislation and compliance obligations - VAT, Corporate Tax, IRPF, and the main tax forms

• You are proactive by nature

• You see technology as a tool, not a threat - you have a genuine curiosity for new tools and more efficient ways of working

• Rigorous and reliable - your clients and colleagues can trust the accuracy of everything you produce

• You know how to communicate complex tax and accounting topics in clear language - clients leave conversations feeling informed, not confused

• Capable of managing a high volume of clients and deadlines simultaneously without losing quality or composure

• You take responsibility seriously - a client portfolio is not a task list, it is a set of relationships for which you are responsible

• Experience working with A3 and/or CEGID

• Experience serving e-commerce clients, including OSS configuration and cross-border VAT

• Familiarity with digital accounting products, Verifactu, and artificial intelligence tools

• Knowledge of payroll and labor matters

Spanish and English - Spanish (native/bilingual) and English (C1/C2)

You will manage a portfolio of SME and freelancer clients, handling their accounting and tax obligations from start to finish. But beyond the technical work, you will be the face of a different kind of service - proactive, clear, and built around what the client actually needs. You will use modern tools to work smarter, not just harder, and you will help define what it means to do things right in a new generation of advisory firms.

• Managing a portfolio of SME and freelancer clients - their results, their deadlines, and their trust

• Being their point of reference for any accounting and tax inquiry - the person they call when something arises, and the one who calls them before it arises

• Handling the accounting and tax process for each client from start to finish - daily accounting, monthly closing, quarterly and annual filings, and year-end closing

• Preparing and filing all tax forms on time - Form 303, 111, 115, 200, 347, and others as applicable

• Preparing and filing annual accounts with the Mercantile Registry

• Managing communications, notifications, and requirements from the AEAT on behalf of clients

• Reviewing client transactions and documentation - detecting inconsistencies, anticipating problems, and resolving them before they escalate

• Conducting advisory meetings with clients - interpreting results, explaining their situation clearly, and providing value beyond regulatory compliance
