Tax and Accounting Operations Manager

• Degree in Accounting, Taxation, Business, or a related field

• Between 3 and 6 years of experience in an accounting and/or tax advisory firm

• Solid knowledge of Spanish tax legislation and compliance obligations - VAT, IS, IRPF, and major reporting models

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across different clients or teams without losing quality or control

• A natural coordinator - you bring structure to complexity and make things work better wherever you go

• Fast and decisive - you don't need everything to be perfect before acting, and you learn quickly from what doesn't work

• A strong communicator - clear, direct, and credible with both clients and internal teams

• Results-oriented, not process-for-the-sake-of-process - you care about the outcome, not just completing the task

• Curious and always looking for a smarter way to do things - whether it's a better workflow, a new tool, or a different approach

• Comfortable with digital tools, accounting platforms, and new technologies - you learn fast and look for better ways to work

• Familiarity with accounting tools in the Spanish market - A3, CEGID, Holded, Sage, or similar

• Experience in consulting, law firms, Big 4, banking, or an internal finance department

• Interest in AI tools and workflow automation - always looking for ways to eliminate friction and do more with less

We are building the next generation of tax and accounting advisory services for SMEs across Spain - and we need someone to help us manage it correctly. As we grow our network of accounting offices, we need a sharp, fast-moving operator who can coordinate processes between teams, raise the quality standard, and ensure that Numonis's way of working is truly implemented on the ground.

This is not a position for someone who wants to sit behind a desk and execute tasks. We need someone who supervises, structures, and builds - who detects what isn't working, fixes it, and puts something better in its place. You will travel regularly between offices, train and coordinate tax and accounting advisors across various locations, and act as a bridge between the people doing the work and the technology team building the tools. If you are a decisive, curious person with the energy for the pace - this is yours to shape.

• Coordinate accounting operations across multiple Numonis offices - planning, organizing, and ensuring consistent quality across all client portfolios

• Supervise the quality and accuracy of accounting entries and client deliverables - setting the standard and ensuring the team meets it

• Ensure full compliance with all tax and reporting obligations within legal deadlines - VAT, Corporate Tax, Model 22, IRPF, and others

• Train new tax and accounting advisors on Numonis workflows, platforms, and standards - ensuring they are prepared to perform from day one

• Act as a liaison between the tax and accounting advisors on the ground and the technology team - gathering feedback, highlighting issues, and ensuring both parties are aligned

• Support clients in interpreting their results and planning their tax position - going beyond the numbers to provide truly useful insights

• Represent Numonis in client relationships - conveying confidence, clarity, and professionalism in every interaction

• Continuously build and improve the operational structure and workflows followed by accounting teams in all offices - this is yours to define

• Travel regularly to Numonis offices to coordinate teams, implement processes, and stay close to the work
