Civil Engineering Technician or Technical Architect

  • Standard schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 h to 18:00 h.

  • Intensive working day: Every Friday, all eves of public holidays, and every day in the months of July and August, in continuous hours from 8:30 h to 15:30 h.

• Qualifications that add value: Degree in Civil Engineering, Public Works Technical Engineering (ITOP), Technical Architecture, or Building Engineering.

• Solid track record: At least 5 years of experience accumulated in Site Management of urbanization projects, preferably within the scope of the city of Barcelona or its metropolitan area.

• Language proficiency: Fluent command of Catalan (spoken and written), as it will be your usual working language in technical and management meetings at BIMSA.

• Availability for immediate start: The scale and milestone of the project require that you can join the team as soon as possible.

• Collaborative and proactive mindset: Ability to work in teams in dynamic construction and public management environments.

We are looking for a Public Works Technical Engineer (ITOP) or Technical Architect with vision, rigor, and a passion for urbanization to join as Assistant Project Manager in one of Barcelona's most emblematic infrastructure projects, working directly from the BIMSA facilities.

How will your day-to-day contribute to our purpose?

• Supervise and manage Urbanization Site Management: You will coordinate operational phases on the ground to guarantee the highest standards of quality, safety, and timely execution, gaining strategic visibility with the institutional client.

• Integrate and support the project management team: You will work hand in hand with the Project Manager and the assistant team, adding your experience to resolve technical contingencies and optimize decision-making.

• Direct interlocution at the BIMSA offices: You will represent OCA Global and interact daily in Catalan with the various project stakeholders, strengthening alliances and ensuring communicative fluidity within the municipal ecosystem.

• Control of costs, deadlines, and regulatory requirements: You will ensure rigor in certifications and the correct application of regulations, guaranteeing that every transformed square meter meets the required environmental and infrastructural standards.
