Technical Engineer of Public Works (ITOP) or Technical Architect

We are looking for a Technical Engineer of Public Works (ITOP) or Technical Architect with vision, rigor, and a passion for urban development to join as Assistant to the Project Manager on one of Barcelona's most iconic infrastructure projects, working directly from BIMSA's facilities.

Here, you won't be just another number: you will be an active part of a multidisciplinary team made up of a Project Manager and two Assistants, where your technical judgment and operational leadership will leave a real mark on the urban landscape.

How will your day-to-day contribute to our purpose?

• Supervise and manage the Construction Management of Urban Development: You will coordinate the operational phases on site to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and timely execution, gaining strategic visibility with the institutional client.

• Integrate and support the project management team: You will work hand in hand with the Project Manager and the team of assistants, adding your experience to resolve technical contingencies and optimize decision-making.

• Direct liaison at BIMSA's offices: You will represent OCA Global and interact daily in Catalan with the project's various stakeholders, strengthening alliances and ensuring smooth communication within the municipal ecosystem.

• Cost, schedule, and regulatory compliance control: You will ensure rigor in certifications and the correct application of regulations, guaranteeing that every transformed square meter meets the required environmental and infrastructural standards.

🛠️ What would we like to see in your profile?

• Degrees that add value: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Technical Engineering of Public Works (ITOP), Technical Architecture, or a degree in Building Engineering.

• Solid track record: At least 5 years of experience in Construction Management of urban development projects, preferably within the city of Barcelona or its metropolitan area.

• Language proficiency: Fluent command of Catalan (spoken and written), as it will be your usual working language in technical and management meetings at BIMSA.

• Availability for immediate incorporation: The scale and milestone of the project require that you can join the team as soon as possible.

• Collaborative and proactive mindset: Ability to work in a team in dynamic construction and public management environments.

¿Cómo contribuirá tu día a día a nuestro propósito?

• Supervisar y gestionar la Dirección de Obra de Urbanización: Coordinarás las fases operativas sobre el terreno para garantizar los máximos estándares de calidad, seguridad y ejecución a tiempo, ganando visibilidad estratégica frente a cliente institucional.

• Integrarte y dar soporte al equipo directivo del proyecto: Trabajarás mano a mano con el Project Manager y el equipo de adjuntos, sumando tu experiencia para resolver contingencias técnicas y optimizar la toma de decisiones.

• Interlocución directa en las oficinas de BIMSA: Representarás a OCA Global e interactuarás diariamente en catalán con los diferentes stakeholders del proyecto, fortaleciendo alianzas y asegurando la fluidez comunicativa en el ecosistema municipal.

• Control de costes, plazos y requerimientos normativos: Velarás por el rigor en las certificaciones y la correcta aplicación normativa, garantizando que cada metro cuadrado transformado cumpla con los estándares medioambientales e infraestructurales exigidos.

🛠️ ¿Qué nos gustaría ver en tu perfil?

• Titulaciones que suman: Grado en Ingeniería Civil, Ingeniería Técnica de Obras Públicas (ITOP), Arquitectura Técnica o Grado en Edificación.

• Trayectoria sólida: Al menos 5 años de experiencia acumulada en Dirección de Obra de proyectos de urbanización, preferiblemente dentro del ámbito de la ciudad de Barcelona o su área metropolitana.

• Dominio lingüístico: Dominio fluido del catalán (hablado y escrito), ya que será tu lengua de trabajo habitual en las reuniones técnicas y de gestión en BIMSA.

• Disponibilidad para incorporación inmediata: La envergadura e hito del proyecto requieren que puedas sumarte al equipo a la mayor brevedad posible.

• Mindset colaborativo y proactivo: Capacidad de trabajo en equipo en entornos dinámicos de obra y gestión pública.
