About the Job Role 👩🏼💻

The Microfulfillment team is responsible for managing robotics, maintenance, and operational excellence projects for the area.

As a Project Manager for microfulfillment, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and innovation across our logistics network for the Vitoria site. Reporting to the Ops Excellence Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team that designs and implements disruptive solutions in last-mile and Distribution Center (DC) operations.

Supporting the expansion of new Microfulfillments:

1. Visits to potential new Microfulfillment nodes in the network.

2. Support in the design and creation of the set-up project.

3. Contact with suppliers and on-site coordination.

4. Ensuring compliance with enabling regulations so that the node can operate.

Evaluate, design, and implement continuous improvement projects within existing nodes

1. Full collaboration and contact with the operations team to understand the main areas for improvement (operational structure; processes; systems; etc.).

2. Analyze and quantify each stage of the process within the Microfulfillments to detect operational bottlenecks and improvement opportunities (productivity; time wastage; etc.)

3. Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) so they are current across all existing nodes.

4. Maintain Know-How in operations with high staff turnover.

5. Coordinate with different teams within Paack (Transport; Purchasing; Health and Safety; Data) to guarantee the occurrence of each improvement project.

6. Promote a culture of operational excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

7. Provide visibility regarding operational changes or incidents.

8. Maintain a constant flow of communication.

9. Report potential system/configuration errors that could jeopardize operations.

10. Promote a positive Client <> Operator culture, with a spirit of continuous improvement and good predisposition.

Availability to travel one or two weeks per month in Spain or Portugal is required. Having your own transport is not necessary.
