Maintenance Painter and Trades First-Class

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Department Head and/or the Maintenance Supervisor, the candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Read blueprints and instructions and examine surfaces to determine the type and amount of work required.
• Prepare the work area (cover fixtures, set up scaffolding, etc.).
• Prepare walls and other surfaces to be painted (remove old paint, scrape, fill cracks, etc.).
• Mix paint and other materials to achieve the appropriate color and/or texture.
• Perform any other related tasks assigned.
• Assist other department staff. Teamwork.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Painter.
• Person:
  •  responsible and methodical
  •  organized
  • with attention to detail
  • with a flexible, practical, and professional approach
  • with problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of masonry, electrical work, locksmithing, carpentry, and other trades within the maintenance department will be valued.

Roles & Responsibilities

En dependencia del Jefe de Departamento y/o del Encargado de Mantenimiento se responsabilizará de las siguientes funciones:

• Leer planos e instrucciones y examinar superficies para determinar el tipo y la cantidad de trabajo necesario.
• Realizar los preparativos del lugar (cubrir accesorios, poner andamios, etc.).
• Preparar las paredes y otras superficies a pintar (quitar pintura vieja, raspar, rellenar grietas, etc.).
• Mezclar pintura y otros materiales para prepara el color y/o la textura adecuados.
• Realizar cualquier otra tarea afín que le sea asignada.
• Ayuda al resto del personal del departamento. Trabajo en equipo.

Se requiere

• Experiencia mínima de 3 años como Pintor.
• Persona:
  •  responsable y metódica
  •  organizada
  • que preste atención al detalle
  • con enfoque flexible, práctico y profesional
  • con habilidad para resolver problemas

• Se valorarán conocimientos en albañilería, electricidad, cerrajería, carpintería y otras profesiones dentro del departamento de mantenimiento.
