The role

Grupoconstant, a leading company in the automotive sector, is looking to hire a PAINTER for its facility in Agüimes, Gran Canaria. If you have proven experience in vehicle painting and are passionate about the automotive world, this is your opportunity!

We are looking for a professional with a solid track record and in-depth knowledge of the most advanced techniques and materials in automotive painting. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes, guaranteeing customer satisfaction, and contributing to the prestige of our brand.

What you'll do

Thorough preparation of the vehicle surface through sanding, filling, and applying patches to ensure a perfect base.
Performing "pulling even" for an impeccable smoothing finish.
Precise application of masking paper to protect areas not to be treated.
Rigorous degreasing of all surfaces to be painted.
Proper blending to optimize paint adhesion.
Application of state-of-the-art paint, including Waterborne Base technologies, to achieve uniform and durable finishes.
Careful removal of masking material.
Mastery of color mixing and colorimetry to achieve the exact requested shade.
Safe and efficient management and movement of vehicles in and out of the company's facilities.

Will be valued

Vocational training in Bodywork or Painting.
Experience in using color measurement equipment.
Knowledge of polishing and finishing techniques.
Flexible schedule.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a vehicle painter in the automotive sector.
Knowledge and handling of the latest automotive paint technologies, especially Waterborne Base.
Skill in surface preparation (sanding, filling, patching).
Precision and attention to detail in paint application and masking.
Ability to mix colors and understanding of colorimetry.
Knowledge of applicable occupational health and safety regulations.
Driving license B.
Responsible, proactive person with the ability to work in a team.
