From Quirónsalud's private hospitals in Madrid, we are looking for a Coordinator for the Surgical Block of the Hospital Quirónsalud San José, located at Calle de Cartagena, 111, Chamartín, Madrid.

What will your mission be?

To coordinate and facilitate activities related to the healthcare process, ensuring optimal quality therein among the professionals they coordinate, applying the knowledge specific to their category and following the guidelines set by the center based on each area's clinical protocols, contributing to offering a service of excellent quality.

What you'll do

What will your functions and responsibilities be?

To coordinate and supervise the care activity of the surgical block, ensuring compliance with protocols, procedures, and quality standards.

To manage and coordinate the nursing and nurse assistant team (TCAE), ensuring proper staff organization and care coverage.

To safeguard patient quality and safety by verifying the correct development of surgical activity.

To supervise the maintenance, conservation, and correct use of surgical equipment.

To ensure the availability of sterile supplies, instrumentation, and necessary resources for surgical activity.

To control the stock of drugs, medical products, and storage material in the surgical area.

To anticipate the needs for instruments and equipment based on the surgical schedule.

To supervise the correct completion of care records, informed consents, and the Surgical Safety Checklist (LVQ).

To lead, motivate, and develop the team, promoting continuous training and the achievement of objectives and indicators.

To drive operational efficiency in the surgical block, minimizing incidents and delays in patient care.
