ICU Nurse

Provide comprehensive patient care, promoting health education, in coordination with the rest of the team members, applying nursing knowledge and following the guidelines set by the center based on the care protocols of each area, contributing to offering a service of excellent quality.
Main responsibilities
1. Take responsibility for direct patient care, in accordance with the nursing care plan of the patients under their charge, ensuring their safety during the care process.
2. Making the necessary entries in the patient's clinical history.
3. Showing consistency and interest in patient monitoring and control, informing them of how their care will proceed and regarding any other matter that may be required, respecting the standards of excellent quality care.
4. Respecting and maintaining an appropriate relationship with patients and families, collaborating in the promotion and maintenance of a professional and respectable environment. Providing, likewise, the information and education that responds appropriately to their needs.
5. Promoting an effective interdepartmental working relationship and working effectively as a member of a team to facilitate the achievement of the department's objectives and goals.
6. Staying up to date on innovations in the field of nursing and pursuing professional growth and development. Serving as a role model, assisting in the organization and supervision of nursing assistants when appropriate and tutoring nursing students when appropriate.
7. Being proactive in the identification and communication of suggestions, non-conformities, risks, etc., detected in the work area.
Maintenance of the environment, equipment, and work materials in excellent condition so that care processes can
be carried out correctly. Complying with the work procedures and instructions applicable to their processes, including occupational health and safety regulations. Completing the necessary records in the course of their work.
