The role

Are you a student of Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related degree and are you passionate about the world of purchasing and supply chain in the food sector? At Randstad, we are selecting a Raw Materials Purchasing Intern to join the Purchasing department of a large company in the consumer goods sector. This internship will allow you to acquire an analytical and practical vision of global raw material markets, working hand in hand with professionals in the sector in a dynamic environment of continuous learning and in an unbeatable location in Barcelona.

What you'll do

In your day-to-day, and with the support of your tutor, you will provide support to the Raw Materials Purchasing area in the following responsibilities: - Control and planning: Continuous monitoring of the consumption of main raw materials and weekly MRP management.

  • Market analysis: Preparation of daily reports on the evolution of raw material markets.
  • Data management and reporting: Maintenance of the database (adding and removing raw material references) and preparation of quarterly and annual Purchasing reports.
  • Presentations: Preparation of material for meetings with suppliers, industry fairs, etc.

Requirements

  • Agreement: Possibility of signing an Internship / Collaboration Agreement with your university or study center.
