Requirements

What we're looking for

Professional experience: At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in indirect procurement, category management, or Strategic Sourcing in large companies, preferably in the Retail, Mass Distribution, or FMCG sectors.

Nice to have

University degree: Degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, Industrial Engineering, or similar. A master's degree or postgraduate training in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Strategic Management will be especially valued.

English B2+ (C1 highly valued) both written and spoken.

The role

Randstad Professional is selecting a Purchasing Technician (Buyer) for a large company in the Retail sector, who, reporting to the purchasing management, will perform the functions described below:

What you'll do

  • Support category managers in category management, seeking possible solutions and improvements, and performing spend analysis by category, family, nature of service, and supplier.
  • Search for savings across different categories through supplier optimization.
  • Collaboration in strategic sourcing projects.
  • Negotiation with and management of suppliers, as well as placing purchase orders and drafting SLAs. Document management.
