Lead, coordinate, and optimize the plant's operational functioning autonomously. The main objective is to guarantee compliance with manufacturing, quality, safety, and efficiency goals, acting as the primary technical reference for incident resolution. All this, while maintaining an excellent level of service and fluid, strategic communication with the partners.

1. Production and Operations Management

Comprehensive supervision: Guarantee compliance with the daily production plan in terms of time, quality, and costs.

Pomace process control: Coordinate startups, shutdowns, and operational changes. Perform continuous monitoring of tons of pomace processed.

Specific operations: Ensure the correct functioning of the facilities, controlling critical dryer parameters (temperatures, humidity, VTI) and coordinating pitting, chemical/physical extraction, and shipping processes.

Continuous improvement: Analyze workflows and implement improvements to maximize machinery efficiency and reduce losses during extraction.

1. Maintenance and Incident Resolution

Technical leadership: Act as a reference in the resolution of breakdowns (especially in dryers, extractors, and boilers) that could paralyze production.

Preventive and corrective maintenance: Supervise the execution of the maintenance plan for facilities and heavy machinery.

Supplier management: Control the stock of critical parts and spares, and coordinate the interventions of external technical services.

1. Comprehensive Management and Supply Chain

Purchasing and raw material: Lead autonomously the entry and purchase of wet pomace/raw material necessary for production.

Shipping: Coordinate and supervise the output and shipment of crude pomace oil and by-products.

1. Team Leadership and Partner Relations

Personnel management: Direct and evaluate team performance, managing discipline and coordinating shifts.

Strategic interlocution: Act as the main link with the partners, demonstrating high negotiation and communication skills to ensure production objectives and a clear vocation of service towards them.

1. Quality, Safety, and OHS

Quality Control: Ensure strict compliance with pomace specifications (inlet/outlet humidity) and coordinate corrective measures.

Safety: Guarantee compliance with Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) regulations, detect unsafe acts, and maintain order and cleanliness in a complex industrial environment.

Main Monitoring KPIs

To ensure the profitability and efficiency of the extraction plant, the Manager will report and optimize the following key indicators:

Production and Operational Efficiency

Processing Volume: Tons of pomace processed daily/monthly vs. target.

Extraction Yield: Percentage of crude pomace oil obtained over the total raw material introduced.

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness): Uptime of critical machinery (e.g., dryer) and % of unplanned stops or downtime.

Product and By-product Quality

Residual Fat in Pomace Meal: Percentage of oil remaining in the final by-product (key to measuring the effectiveness of the extraction process; the lower the % of fat, the better the process).

Humidity Control: Deviations in the pomace humidity percentage at the dryer inlet and outlet.

Costs and Consumption

Energy Efficiency: Thermal and electrical consumption per ton of pomace processed (critical indicator due to the high energy cost of dryers).

Maintenance Cost: Expenditure on spares and external services per ton processed.

Safety (OHS)

Frequency and Severity Index: Number of incidents/accidents and accident-free days in the plant.

Position Authority

The job holder has full authority to:

Reorganize technical and human resources according to the needs of pomace intake.

Prioritize maintenance interventions based on production impact.

Stop equipment and production in the event of any risk of fire, explosion, or occupational risk.

Escalate critical incidents to industrial management when the situation requires it.
