Requirements

What we're looking for

Previous experience in the assembly of industrial or thermal insulation (lagging).
Technical knowledge in the assembly of insulation ducts, dexterity in the installation of elbows, sleeves, shells, and supports.
Handling of different materials: thermal blankets, mineral wools, elastomers, etc.
Autonomy at work, commitment to deadlines, and rigor in compliance with Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) regulations.
Mobility: Residence in Asturias and availability to travel to different construction sites/work centers within the province.

Pay & benefits

What you'll get

Permanent contract.
Salary according to the metal industry collective agreement of Asturias, negotiable based on experience.
Overtime: Possibility to perform 1 or 2 hours of overtime per day on a voluntary basis, by shortening meal breaks.

The role

We are looking to hire insulation fitters to develop lagging projects in various industrial and building facilities in Asturias. The main objective is the correct installation of thermal insulation systems to optimize energy efficiency.

What you'll do

Assembly of thermal insulation systems for both cold and heat in pipes, tanks, and ducts.
Handling Prefabricated Materials: Fitting and placing pipe sections, blankets, and metallic or sheet metal prefabricated covers for insulation protection.
Auxiliary Work: Installing supports and sealing joints to ensure thermal tightness.
Maintenance: Repair and replacement of degraded insulation in industrial plants.

How you'll work

Schedule from Monday to Thursday: starting at 07:00/08:00 and finishing at 17:00 h.
Friday Schedule: 08:00 h to 14:00 h (Intensive workday, 8 hours are paid).
