What we're looking for

To successfully fit into this position, we are looking for a person who brings:

Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of demonstrable previous experience as a warehouse assistant, order picker, or in similar functions.

Skills: An agile, methodical person, with attention to detail (fundamental to avoid reference errors in book shipments) and the capacity for physical work.

Residency: Palau-solità i Plegamans or neighboring towns in Vallès.

Availability: Immediate start and total adaptation to the established schedule.

Nice to have

Valuable: Previous experience using PDA (radio frequency) and handling manual/electric pallet jacks.

What you'll get

Competitive salary: 10.50 — gross per hour worked.

Structured schedule (Ideal for work-life balance):

Monday to Thursday: from 08:00h to 14:00h and from 14:45h to 17:00h (45-minute lunch break).

Friday: from 08:00h to 15:00h (Intensive workday to start the weekend early).

The role

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant with consolidated experience to join our logistics center.

The main objective will be to guarantee efficiency in the flow of goods: from the correct reception of book print runs from the printing house, to the meticulous preparation of orders so that they arrive in perfect condition at the points of sale.

What you'll do

As part of the warehouse team, your daily responsibilities will include:

Reception of goods: Unloading, checking delivery notes, and quality verification of pallets of books and printed material.

Stock placement and management: Placing material on the corresponding shelves and inventory control.

Order preparation (Picking and Packing): Preparing shipments for distributors and bookstores, ensuring adequate packaging to protect the product (avoiding damage to covers, spines, etc.).

Dispatch: Loading goods onto transport vehicles and basic associated document management.

Space maintenance: Collaboration in order, cleanliness, and the application of risk prevention regulations in the warehouse.
