Work experience: Minimum 4 years of experience operating asphalt compactors in paving projects.
Technical knowledge: Mastery of compaction machinery, control of pavement temperatures, and dexterity with manual tools.
Academic training: Basic Vocational Training (FP Básica), PCPI, PGS, or equivalent qualification.
Permits and licenses: Class B driver's license.
Location / Residence: Residence in Tenerife or La Gomera (no need for availability to travel outside of these locations).

The role

Do you have experience operating compaction rollers and are you looking for job stability in the sector?

We are looking to hire an Asphalt Compactor Operator to join our paving projects in Tenerife and La Gomera. If you master the asphalt concrete compaction process, care for the final finish of the road, and are looking for a permanent contract from day one, we want to count on your on-site experience!

What you'll do

Handling and operation of compaction rollers (single drum, tandem, and/or pneumatic) in the compaction of hot asphalt layers.
Control of the number of passes, mixture temperature, and compaction speed to guarantee the required density and finish.
Execution and finishing of expansion joints, edges, and hard-to-reach areas using light compactors or manual rammers.
Use and handling of auxiliary manual construction tools.
Inspection, basic daily maintenance, and cleaning of the machinery under your charge.
