Civil Works Manager

-Minimum of 5 years of experience performing functions as a Works Manager or Group Manager in civil works, urbanizations, and similar infrastructures.

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering/Technical Engineer in Public Works
• Knowledge of building construction

-Demonstrable experience in the execution of earthworks, channeling, sanitation networks, paving, supply services, and associated structures.

-Management of subcontractors and suppliers: Real experience negotiating and supervising the work of subcontractors in the field.

You have experience as a Civil Works Manager. At Randstad Professional, we are looking for a CIVIL WORKS MANAGER to join a construction company in the work location of Illescas (Toledo)

As a Civil Works Manager, you will be responsible for the following functions:

• Lead the planning, integral management, economic control, and technical execution of the assigned civil works/urbanization (roads, channeling, earthworks, and infrastructure), guaranteeing the quality, safety, cost, and deadline standards required by the company and the owner.

Technical and Execution Management:

• Supervise on-site the correct execution of the works (asphalting, sanitation networks, utilities, paving, earth).
• Coordinate and control the daily production of the internal team and subcontracted companies.
• Resolve technical incidents on-site and interrelate with the Site Management and Technical Assistance of the project.
• Economic and Budget Management:
• Control and optimize the direct and indirect costs of the works in accordance with the assigned budget.
• Prepare monthly work certifications and measurements (both for the client and for subcontractors).
• Negotiate and manage the procurement of civil works supplies (aggregates, concrete, pipes, machinery) and specific subcontracts.
• Planning and Organization:
• Prepare and perform detailed monitoring of the work plan (schedule) ensuring compliance with partial milestones and final delivery.
• Plan the needs for human resources, heavy machinery, and materials in the short and medium term.
• Safety, Health, and Environment:
• Ensure strict compliance with the Health and Safety Plan on the worksite.
• Supervise the management of construction waste (RCDs) and the environmental impact on the surroundings.
