Essential Technical Competencies (Hard Skills)
-TIG Welding (Stainless Steel and Aluminum): Key skills for fine finishes, stainless steel (especially mirror polishing), and aluminum structures in thin thicknesses.
-MIG/MAG and Electrode Welding: Required for heavy structures, reconstructions, and joints requiring higher material deposition.
Full Boilermaking Cycle:
-Technical interpretation of blueprints.
-Layout, cutting (oxy-fuel, shear, abrasive saw, plasma/laser), and bending.
-Edge preparation, cleaning, fitting, and assembly of parts.
-Plate Replacement (Re-plating): Technique for cleaning and replacing plates or damaged sections in hulls, keels, and bulkheads.
-Finishing / Mirror Polishing: Ability to provide the aesthetic finish required in nautical environments to prevent corrosion and salt spray from attacking the parts.
Operational Competencies and Attitude (Soft Skills)
-Precision Disassembly and Assembly: Handling the reverse order of assembly with delicacy, care for the work environment (high-value yachts/boats), and damage prevention.
-Traceability and Labeling: Methodical marking and recording of every extracted part to guarantee that everything returns to its exact position.
-Fitting and Alignment: Steady hand and technical rigor to fit complex parts where clearance or deformation must be zero.
-Handling of Internal Logistics Equipment: Handling of forklifts, stackers, or pallet jacks for the transfer of heavy parts within the workshop.
