Verify the conformity of parts, assemblies and products at the different stages of the manufacturing process through visual inspections, dimensional checks and quality sampling.
Carry out quality control on incoming materials, intermediate processes and final product, in coordination with the Warehouse and Logistics departments.
Use and control measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, squares, rulers, among others), ensuring their correct use and calibration status.
Record inspection results, complete the corresponding quality records and issue quality reports.
Collaborate with the Production and Engineering departments in the identification, analysis and resolution of quality issues, defining and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Answer queries from production staff regarding product quality requirements.
Participate in internal and external audits, providing support in the preparation and follow-up of the required documentation.
Provide training to plant staff on quality matters, customer requirements and actions defined in improvement plans.
Collaborate with the Quality Management System Manager in updating technical instructions, work procedures and system documentation.
Collaborate in the preparation of quality certificates and documentation for customers.
Participate together with the Continuous Improvement team in the monitoring and control of plant improvement projects.
Education: Intermediate Vocational Training (FP Grado Medio)
Knowledge: - internal auditor ISO 9001
Intermediate or advanced vocational training in the metal sector, mechanical manufacturing or similar.
Knowledge of reading technical blueprints.
Knowledge of quality standards (ISO or other applicable ones).
Skill in using measuring and dimensional control instruments.
Ability to work in a team and a focus on continuous improvement.
Previous experience in similar positions within the industrial sector is valued.
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with the possibility of some afternoons from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
