The role

What you'll do

As part of the production team, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of the electrical components of our machinery, carrying out tasks such as:

Wiring and assembly of electrical cabinets.
Connection and configuration of PLCs, automation systems, and variable frequency drives. @@
Installation and configuration of modems and industrial communication systems.
Functional testing and commissioning of industrial machinery.
Technical Assistance Service (TAS): On-site travel for commissioning, fault diagnosis, and preventive/corrective maintenance of cranes.

Overview

Do you have experience in industrial electromechanics and are you available to travel? At Randstad, we are looking for an Electrical Installer and Technical Service (SAT) Technician to join a leading company in the lifting and industrial machinery sector located in Idiazabal.

Requirements

Education: Higher Degree in Electronic Systems and Industrial Automation, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or equivalent. Lower qualification accepted if relevant experience is provided.
Experience: At least 1 year in installation, assembly, and commissioning of industrial machinery.
Hands-on experience with PLCs, automation controllers, variable frequency drives, and reading electrical
English skills.
Willingness to travel (domestic and international as required by service needs).
Valuable: knowledge of Basque language.

Benefits and conditions

Salary: 37,115 euros gross per year.
Career plan.
Split shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (half-hour break for lunch) + Fridays with an intensive working day of 6 hours.
