Stress Analyst – Composite Structures

At RDT we are looking to hire a Stress Analyst to join a next-generation aeronautical program, providing support for structural analysis and certification of composite components.

Job Mission

Perform detailed structural analyses that ensure positive safety margins and regulatory compliance, contributing to certification and first-flight readiness.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

- Development of FEM models from scratch based on CAD designs (FEMAP / NX NASTRAN).

- Definition and combination of load cases.

- Extraction of FEA results for subcomponent analysis.

- Automation of sizing calculations and margins of safety (MS) using Python and/or

FEMAP API.

- Preparation of static stress reports and certification documentation.

- Review of CAD geometry (Siemens NX) and proposal of improvements to the design team.

- Collaboration with Design, Systems, and Structures teams.

- Experience as a Stress Analyst in aeronautics.

- Knowledge of composite sandwich structures.
