Corporate application management: functional and operational monitoring of assigned applications, guaranteeing their correct functioning.
Incident and request management: analysis, prioritization, monitoring, and coordination of their resolution.
Coordination with IT providers: interlocution with external providers, monitoring of actions, and control of acquired commitments.
Management of correctives and evolutions: requirements analysis, development monitoring, and coordination of deliveries.
User support: attending to inquiries, resolving functional problems, and supporting different departments.
Management via Jira: registration and monitoring of incidents, tasks, requests, and evolutions.
Functional validation: execution of tests, review of solutions, and coordination of production deployments.
Occasional technical maintenance: code analysis, incident correction, and performing small developments on a legacy application in Visual Basic.
Documentation and reporting: maintenance of functional and technical documentation, and monitoring the status of activities.

We want to hire a Functional and IT Application Technical Analyst to be part of a team responsible for the management, support, and evolution of key corporate applications.

The selected person will play a fundamental role as a connection point between user areas, technical teams, and technology providers, guaranteeing the correct functioning of applications and contributing to their continuous improvement.

We are looking for a profile with analytical capacity, service orientation, autonomy, and a transversal vision, capable of combining the functional understanding of processes with technical knowledge that allows them to participate actively in incident resolution and system evolution.

Main responsibilities

• Manage and provide support to corporate applications, ensuring their correct operation and availability.
• Analyze, register, and follow up on functional and technical incidents, coordinating the different stakeholders involved.
• Identify improvement needs and participate in the definition and monitoring of evolutions.
• Act as an interlocutor between users, providers, and technical teams, facilitating communication and the alignment of solutions.
• Prepare functional and technical documentation associated with the managed applications and processes.
• Participate in functional testing, solution validation, and production deployment.
• Perform, on an occasional basis, corrective maintenance tasks and small developments on legacy applications developed in Visual Basic.
• Contribute to process optimization and continuous service improvement.

Requirements

Essential requirements

Degree in Computer Engineering, Higher Degree in Computer Science (CFGS), or similar.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in application management, functional analysis, technical support, or maintenance of corporate applications.
Experience working with Jira or other incident and task management tools.
Practical knowledge of programming in Visual Basic, with the ability to analyze existing code and perform corrections or small developments.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Experience in interlocution with users and technology providers.
Ability to analyze incidents from both a functional and technical perspective.
Good communication, organization, and priority management skills.
