About the role
At RDT, we are looking to bring into our team in the Northern Zone (Bilbao Office) an AI Engineer with experience integrating intelligent solutions (automation, robotics, computer vision, edge computing, and real-time analytics) into production environments.
You will have the freedom to experiment and the support of our CoEs to take your ideas from an R&D function to the production line/factory floor.

What will your main functions and responsibilities be?
- Design and implement AI architectures that integrate with industrial systems (PLC, SCADA, robots, sensors).
- Program solutions based on computer vision, intelligent control, or edge computing.
- Integrate AI models into embedded or cloud systems (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Ensure performance, robustness, and scalability of deployed solutions.
- Collaborate with automation, IT, and operations teams.
- Contribute to the standardization of deployment processes (CI/CD, MLOps).

What knowledge and previous experience would we like you to bring?
- Degree/Master's in Industrial Engineering, Automation, Electronics, Computer Science, or similar.
