What we're looking for

Degree in Computer/Telecommunications Engineering or University Bachelor's degree.
Very high level of English, other languages are valuable.
We value experience of at least 5 years (10 years recommended) leading a systems department in an industrial environment company.
We value experience in integrated systems environments (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, IBM Power etc.).
Analytical capacity and the ability to drive changes transversally across the organization.
We value experience in the management, contracting, and optimization of projects/providers and managed services.
We value experience in managing multidisciplinary teams in complex and multinational environments.

The role

We are looking for a profile with at least 10 years of experience leading an IT department in an industrial company.

Multinational industrial group located in the outskirts of Bilbao.
Digital transformation management.

What you'll do

The candidate will be responsible for leading the systems area for the company's digital transformation and driving projects related to said area. Thus achieving the objectives set in the company's strategic plan.

Actively collaborate in the definition of the group's strategic plan for digitalization and digital transformation (IT/OT) and define the optimal technological strategies to reach the planned objectives.
Define, in collaboration with management, the objectives and priority projects for the different areas of the company (ERP, MES, APPS…).
Define HW and SW policies consistent with the group's strategy, optimizing utilization and avoiding obsolescence.
Define external provider policies and optimize their service levels on a global scale.
Implement data policies, architectures, and infrastructures that allow the group to evolve towards a fully digitalized organization, that facilitate the integration of applications and systems, and that support decision-making, advanced information analysis processes, or the automation of tasks/processes.
Implement and manage robust security processes for IT/OT networks (protection, backup, and disaster recovery).
Perform IT risk analysis and establish the most appropriate measures for their coverage and to guarantee their availability.
Act as the person responsible for the group's Information Security Management System.
Drive flexibility and efficiency in resource utilization, promoting agile project management environments.
Identify and evaluate possible AI use cases applied to the business (sales forecasting, inventory optimization, profitability analysis by market, document automation…).
