We are looking for a person with solid knowledge of mechanical design, SolidWorks, and Excel, capable of transforming engineering requirements and criteria into parametric solutions that allow for the optimization and automation of the design of different product configurations.
What will your mission be?
You will participate in the development and maintenance of parametric product models, working with SolidWorks and Excel to generate configurations efficiently, reliably, and in a standardized manner.
Among your main functions will be:
Design and maintain parametric models in SolidWorks.
Work with configurations and Design Tables.
Define variables, relations, equations, and design rules.
Use advanced Excel for the development of tools and automations.
Analyze technical requirements and translate them into design parameters and constraints.
Define ranges and conditions that allow for the generation of technically viable configurations.
Work with product families and variants.
Apply mechanical design, manufacturing, assembly, and dimensioning criteria.
Participate in engineering automation and digitalization initiatives.
Collaborate with the engineering team in the continuous improvement of existing models and tools.
