About the role

At RDT Ingenieros we are looking to expand our industrial engineering team and need to bring on a Site Manager to take part in a tank construction and installation project in a port environment, with an estimated duration of 2 years. What you'll do

  • Supervise and coordinate the execution of mechanical works on site.

  • Monitor the assembly and installation of tanks, equipment and associated mechanical systems.

  • Coordinate the assembly work of piping, structures, equipment and auxiliary elements linked to the project.

  • Ensure that execution is carried out in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, procedures and established quality standards.

  • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and mechanical assembly teams.

What we are looking for in you

  • University degree in Engineering, preferably related to the mechanical or industrial field.

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager, Mechanical Supervisor or in similar positions within industrial projects.

  • Experience in supervising and coordinating mechanical assembly works in the field.

  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping, structures and industrial assembly processes.

  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, technical documentation, specifications and assembly procedures.

  • Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors and site teams.

  • Knowledge of planning, monitoring and execution control.

  • Ability to resolve technical issues and coordinate with engineering teams.

  • Valuable previous experience in tank projects, storage terminals, Oil & Gas, petrochemical, energy or port facilities.

  • Availability to work on site at the project location.
