IT Systems Technician (Virtualization)

• Education in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in virtualization systems administration.
• Proficiency in platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, and/or Citrix.
• Experience in managing VDI and virtual desktop solutions.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, networking, and storage solutions compatible with virtual infrastructure.
• Ability to provide technical support to users and IT teams in large environments.
• Upper-intermediate to advanced technical English: ability to document and resolve incidents in English.

Main responsibilities in IT systems administration and virtualization

• Implement, administer, and maintain virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, or others).
• Manage virtual machines, provisioning, migrations, and resource monitoring.
• Collaborate on the administration and support of VDI infrastructures and virtual desktops.
• Manage Windows and Linux operating systems, updates, and automated software deployment.
• Advanced support for technical incidents, diagnosis, escalation, and resolution in virtualized environments.
• Collaborate on improvement, technology upgrade, and cybersecurity projects for virtualization systems.
• Document procedures, configurations, and best practices in IT systems management.
